The Executive Committee consists of nine members, drawn from both clinicians and researchers.
It meets every two weeks to discuss the Institute’s scientific focus and the operational implementation of the strategy on changes to research platforms as well as the development of research tools, clinical and research integration and the development of clinical trials. It steers recruitment of new teams. It also makes decisions on the organization and the strategy of teaching, technology transfer, clinical research, communication and fundraising activities.
