M2-MD program
The M2-MD program supported by WP6 "Training through and for research" of the Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire Imagine is aimed at supporting medical or pharmaceutical interns to complete a Master 2 in science with an internship in an IHU Imagine laboratory.
This program provides one-year funding for internships in the Imagine IHU's research laboratories.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- have applied for "Année recherche" and/or other type of funding
- devote themselves full-time to research
- be in the process of completing their medical internship
- hold an M1 or equivalent degree.
The next call M2-MD will be launched in January 2026 (beginning of M2 : November 2026)
Health-Science (MD-, PharmD-, VetD- PhD) program
The Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire Imagine's Health-Science (MD-, PharmD-, VetD- PhD) program aims to support young doctors, pharmacists or veterinarians in their research projects, as part of a science thesis (between 1st and 4th year), and thus give them the means to better envisage a medical, pharmaceutical or scientific career.
This program provides funding for host positions in the research laboratories of the IHU Imagine. The duration of the grant is three years.
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Be interns in medicine, pharmacy, odontology or veterinary medicine or former interns, Assistants (AHU and CCA) who have validated their internship for a maximum of 5 years ;
- Hold a Research Master's degree ;
- Register (or registering) for a University thesis.
- Interns must be in the process of completing their internship. Assistants (AHU and CCA) must have completed a maximum of 5 years of internship. Interns are not required to submit a medical, pharmaceutical or veterinary thesis.
- Veterinarians must have held a Diplôme d'Etudes Fondamentales Vétérinaires (DEFV) for less than five years, or a Master of Research degree
The next call Santé-Science (MD-, PharmD-, VetD- PhD) will be lauch in January 2026 (begining of PhD : October/November 2026)
Research protected time program
The Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire Imagine's Protected Research Time program is aimed at hospital doctors, pharmacists and odontologists working in the clinical units associated with the IHU.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis by the Institute's Executive Committee..
This call for is primarily aimed at clinical departments and rare disease reference centers within the IHU Imagine's scientific perimeter, but the institute's commitment to openness goes beyond this constitutive perimeter and allows any PH, PU-PH and MCU-PH, as well as CCA and AHU, affiliated to the AP-HP to apply, provided that the host laboratory is one of Imagine's laboratories.
