About
For the past nine years, I have dedicated my research to the study of rare genetic disorders. I have developed strong expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology, with a particular focus on human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and the development of advanced 3D models, including skin and neural organoids, to investigate disease mechanisms in vitro.
As a scientist, I aim to contribute to accelerating the development of innovative therapeutic strategies for rare diseases and to translating scientific discoveries into meaningful benefits for patients.
Scientific project
I am currently investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying systemic sclerosis, with a particular focus on severe pediatric forms. My project aims to develop advanced 3D in vitro skin models, including skin organoids and skin equivalents, to better understand disease pathogenesis and to identify potential therapeutic strategies through high-throughput drug screening.
