I was trained at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy), where I completed my PhD and at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. After a brief postdoctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, I joined the Imagine Institute in 2015 focusing on monogenic intestinal disorders. I was appointed INSERM researcher in 2020 and continue to integrate patient-based genetic studies with mechanistic investigations to advance our understanding of intestinal immune homeostasis and disease.
