Advances in clinical research

Discovering new treatments for children with genetic diseases is one of Imagine Institute’s priorities. Nurses, doctors and researchers work daily to advance our knowledge.

Before we consider how to cure a genetic disease, we must first be able to name it. There are three step necessary to reach a diagnosis and develop a treatment.

  • Identifying the gene(s) responsible for the disease
  • Characterizing their mutations
  • Understanding the disruptions caused by these mutations

At Imagine, our teams work together using a cross-sectoral and cross-disciplinary approach to innovate non-stop in order to help our patients.
