What is the role of the internal services team?

We have a wide variety of activities that are essential to the operation of the Institute. In the morning, we service the laundry and sterilize the dishes, and we also receive deliveries for the laboratories and departments. In the afternoon, the team is in charge of filling the nitrogen tanks, collecting biological and chemical waste, and managing the store. I would like to thank my team for their daily investment in these missions.

What is your role in the equipment group?

I am now responsible for managing the Institute's scientific equipment. I work in conjunction with the floor referents in an "equipment" group. This teamwork is very important because it allows us to exchange information and to have a global vision of available equipment and needs, with the aim of sharing equipment and maintenance. This has enabled us to draw up an inventory of all the equipment available to the research teams.

Thanks to this global vision, I can help find solutions when the laboratories move (organization of spaces, sharing of equipment, storage), in conjunction with the research teams, the equipment group, the technical service and the management.

This teamwork is very important because it allows us to exchange information and to have a global vision of available equipment and needs, with the objective of sharing equipment and maintenance.

What is your background?

I have spent my entire career in health-related research. I worked in research laboratories in different institutes such as Curie and the ICM. In addition to my research activities, I carried out management missions at the laboratory level. At Imagine, I no longer work at the bench but close by, and my field of action is broader and more global, this time I carry out my missions at the level of the Institute.
