Activity Continuity Plan at Imagine

Since the end of the 1st containment on May 11, 2020, and throughout the Covid-19 crisis, Imagine has been deploying an Activity Continuity Plan. Every effort is being made to allow scientific and medical activities to continue while ensuring the safety of all. This plan evolves in line with the evolution of the pandemic, governmental reflections and instructions, as well as those of our supervisors. Find here all useful information and instructions.

A team dedicated to managing a health crisis: the Squad

Safety, continuity and scientific priorities, compliance and consultation are the four fundamental principles that guide the adaptation of the activity continuation plan at Imagine. Decisions related to health instructions are taken in consultation by the Squad, which also has an information and education role.

The Squad is composed of :

  • Laure Boquet, General Delegate
  • Sigolène Meilhac, Laboratory Director
  • Anne-Marie Laurencine, Health, Safety and Environment Manager
  • Cécile Bureau, Internal Services Manager
  • Nathalie Wuylens, Legal Manager
  • Hélène Lages, HR Manager
  • Marie de Bazelaire, Communication Director
  • Justine Brossard, Internal Communications Officer
  • Elodie Dandelot, Education and Society program coordinator

Reinforced and evolving safety instructions

Imagine has put in place sanitary measures dedicated to your protection and safety. Good risk management is based on individual and collective responsibility, as well as on the rigor of all. We thank you for the strictest respect of these sanitary measures, of which the main ones are the following

  • Wearing a mask over the mouth and nose throughout the Institute, except in  personal offices
  • Respect the barrier distances: 1 meter minimum with mask, 2 meters minimum without mask. 2 meters during meals.
  • Regular ventilation of spaces when possible (10 minutes every hour)
  • Respect of the gauges in common areas (meeting rooms, offices, elevators...)
  • Cleaning of shared spaces (especially dining and meeting tables) after use, and ventilation of rooms by users

Questions and practical information

What should I do if I test positive for Covid-19?

I isolate myself immediately.

I inform the Institute and send the names of the people I have been in contact with during the last 48 hours to contact-covid19@institutimagine.org

I isolate myself for 10 days from the first symptoms.

If I develop a fever or breathing difficulties after 10 days, I will continue my isolation for another 10 days.

What if I have symptoms?

I isolate myself immediately.

I inform the Institute and send the names of people I have been in contact with in the last 48 hours to contact-covid19@institutimagine.org

I get tested and isolate myself until the results are in.

  • If I have had symptoms for 4 days or less, am under 65 years of age and do not have risk factors for severe forms of the disease, I can have an antigen test
  • If I have had symptoms for more than 4 days, am over 65 years of age or have at least one risk factor for severe disease, I can do an RT-PCR test in the laboratory.

If the test is negative, I can return to Imagine, with strict adherence to barrier measures.

If the test is positive, I follow the instructions above.

What if I am a case of contact?

I am considered a contact at risk if I have been in an unventilated room with a person without a mask, if I am immunocompromised, or if I have been informed by my doctor, the Health Insurance or the ARS that I am a contact case.

I isolate myself immediately.

I inform the Institute and send the names of the people I have been in contact with during the last 48 hours to contact-covid19@institutimagine.org

I get tested by RT-PCR and isolate myself until the results are in.

If the test is negative, I can return to Imagine, with strict adherence to barrier measures.

If the test is positive, I follow the instructions above.

What is the vaccination obligation at Imagine?

As a university hospital, care and research institute, located in the heart of a hospital site, with permanent interaction, without separate access or separate flows of hospital and non-hospital personnel, Institut Imagine is one of the establishments subject to compulsory vaccination for its personnel and to the health pass for its visitors.

All persons working at the Institute, whatever their activity (Institute staff, start-ups, industrialists and hosted structures, subcontractors and regular service providers of the Institute) are subject to compulsory vaccination, unless medically contraindicated.

Thus, each employee must be able to provide the HR department with proof of a complete vaccination schedule or a certificate stating that he or she is not subject to the vaccination requirement due to a medical contraindication or recovery from a COVID-19 infection less than 6 months old.

Can I and should I take my 3rd dose of vaccine?

The 3rd dose of Covid-19 vaccination is open to everyone, as long as the 2nd dose was injected more than 5 months ago.

From mid-January, the health pass for people who have not taken their 3rd dose for more than 7 months will be deactivated.

The vaccination obligation is not currently subject to this 3rd dose of vaccination, we will inform you if it becomes so.

However, we strongly encourage you to carry out this 3rd dose in accordance with government recommendations, in order to channel the epidemic.

As the Necker Hospital is currently very mobilized, its vaccination center, which will reopen soon, will only be able to receive APHP personnel in priority. We invite you to get your booster shot at the vaccination center or in the many pharmacies in the area. We remind you that it is possible to be vaccinated during working hours.

Can I hold social events at the Institute?

We strongly encourage you to suspend social events until the end of the year.

In general, they must be declared to pra@institutimagine.org and respect a gauge validated with the Squad PRA.

The organizer is responsible for the respect of sanitary measures.

Can I receive visitors?

It is authorized to receive visitors. They must be declared at the reception desk (accueil@institutimagine.org) and their entry to Imagine is subject to the health pass.

Can I use the meeting rooms/seminar center?

It is currently recommended to avoid face-to-face meetings as much as possible.

Meeting rooms can be used, subject to the capacity limits indicated in the room and on the booking tool. They must be booked here.

The auditorium, rooms 531, 330, 601-602 and 603 must be reserved with Elodie Dandelot (elodie.dandelot@institutimagine.org). They must also be used in accordance with the stated capacity.

The rooms must be cleaned by the users.
