Support

Our family is directly affected by a genetic problem for which there is no solution today.  So my husband and I decided to support research.

After a long reflection, but also an analysis of the different means of support, our choice finally fell on the Imagine Institute. The alliance of research and medicine to act directly on diseases really counted in our decision. I don't think there are any other institutes today that operate in the same way: it is exceptional. I am also fortunate to know a doctor at Imagine with whom I have had long discussions and who has confirmed the seriousness of the work carried out there.

Today, we are completely satisfied with our choice. So much so that this is the first time since I started donating to associations that I really feel I am doing something useful. I'm not just a check, I'm making a difference and that changes everything!

During a meeting organized at Imagine with donors, I was particularly struck by the testimony of a mother faced with the unknown of her little girl's illness. Imagine first gave her hope by studying her case in depth. Then, thanks to advanced techniques and constant support, the institute gave her a diagnosis. A light in the face of distress! This is what touches me about the work of the Imagine Institute: remarkable doctors and researchers offering a welcome, a listening ear and a response to the solitude and isolation of families.

Finally, I believe that the strength of Imagine is its team! Accessible at all levels, dynamic, young and completely invested in overcoming genetic diseases. You can feel a real union, it's not the boss on one side and the Foundation on the other. And that, for me, is fundamental.
